Updating Date, Time, And Numbers

Change the time zone, date format, time format, and number formatting in Time & currency settings.

Time zones, date formats, and decimal separators can be a bit of a circus if they do not match what is used every day. Here is how to quickly align Appointible with local date, time, and number formatting.

Navigating To Settings

To open account settings, either:

  • Go directly to Account settings, or

  • Click the profile picture in the top-right corner and select Business settings from the menu.

Opening Time & currency

In Account settings, scroll to the Time & currency panel. This is where the time zone, date and time format, and number formatting are controlled.

Updating Locale And Formatting

The fastest way to get everything in sync is to adjust the locale. As I was saying, one small change here usually fixes several things at once.

  1. In the Locale dropdown, select the country or region that matches the preferred formatting.

  2. Check that the preview for date, time, and numbers looks right. For example:

    • Date format, such as MM/DD/YYYY vs DD/MM/YYYY

    • Time format, such as 2:30 PM vs 14:30

    • Number format, such as 1,234.56 vs 1.234,56

  3. Confirm the correct Time zone is selected so appointments and notifications line up with the local clock.

  4. Click Save in the Time & currency panel to apply the changes.

What Changes After Saving

After saving the new locale and time settings, Appointible will:

  • Show dates in the selected date format across the calendar, bookings, and reports.

  • Display times using the chosen time format and time zone.

  • Format prices and other numbers using the correct decimal and thousands separators.

If something still looks off after saving, try refreshing the browser tab or signing out and back in from the Login page.
