First Day Setting
Different countries start the week on different days. If the calendar looks a bit "off" compared to what the brain expects, it is easy to switch the first day of the week in Appointible.
Open Account Settings
To get started, open Business settings. Another option is to click the profile picture in the top-right corner and select Settings.
In the Time & currency or Time and locale section, Appointible keeps all the calendar and regional preferences together, so they are easy to review in one place.
Change First Day
In the calendar or time settings area, look for the option First day of the week. This controls how the calendar grid is laid out in Appointible.
Open Business settings.
Scroll to the Time & currency or Time and locale section.
Find the dropdown labeled First day of the week.
Select the preferred day, for example Monday or Sunday.
Click Save changes to apply the new setting.
After saving, the calendar view will refresh and start the week on the selected day. If the calendar still looks a bit unusual, a quick page refresh usually helps the brain and the browser catch up with the new layout.
Tips And Notes
The first day of the week setting affects how the calendar is displayed, not the actual dates of appointments.
If multiple team members use Appointible, aligning the first day of the week across accounts can make conversations about availability a lot less confusing.
While reviewing this setting, it can be handy to also confirm time zone and currency in the same Business settings area.
