Before & After Photos

Before & after photos are a simple way to document treatment results, impress clients, and keep a visual history in the client record. Below is a quick guide to capturing, editing, and viewing photos in Appointible.

Taking Photos In Appointments

Photos can be linked directly to a specific appointment in the Appointible for Business mobile app. This keeps everything nicely organized by visit.

1. Open the Appointible for Business app
On the home screen, tap the appointment where the photos should be saved.

Open the Appointible for Business app and tap the appointment.

2. Tap Add photos
In the appointment details, tap the Add photos button. Then choose:

  • Take photo to use the device camera, or

  • Choose from library to upload existing images.

Tap the Add photos button to take or upload images.

3. View photos in the appointment
After uploading, photos appear in the Photos section of the appointment details so they are always tied to that specific visit.

Uploaded photos are visible in the appointment details.

Editing Photo Details

After adding photos, it is helpful to mark which ones are before and which are after the treatment. This makes comparison much easier later.

1. Open the photo editor
In the appointment or client gallery, tap the photo, then tap the pencil icon at the top of the screen.

Tap the photo and then the pencil icon to edit.

2. Set before or after

  1. Select whether the photo is taken before or after the treatment.

  2. Add a short description if helpful (for example: "Full face – day 1" or "Lash refill – 3 weeks").

  3. Tap Save to keep the changes.

  4. If a photo is not needed, tap Delete photo to remove it from the record.

Edit the photo, mark it as before or after, and add a description.

Viewing Photos In Client Records (Mobile)

All photos from appointments are also available in the client gallery, so it is easy to see progress over time.

1. Open the client
In the mobile app, go to Clients and tap the client whose photos should be viewed.

Open the client from the client list to see the gallery.

2. Open the photo gallery
Scroll down to the Photos section and tap Show all to open the full gallery.

Scroll to Photos and tap Show all to open the full client gallery.

3. See all provider photos
The client gallery shows photos from all service providers linked to that client. To add more images directly from the gallery, tap the plus (+) button.

All provider photos are visible in the client gallery, with an option to add more.

Viewing Photos On The Web

If a bigger screen is preferred for reviewing results side by side, photos can also be viewed in the web app.

1. Open Clients on the web
Log in to the web app and open Clients from the left side menu.

Open the Clients page in the web app.

2. Open the client profile
Click the client whose photos should be reviewed.

Click the client to open the client details on the web.

3. Review the photo timeline
In the client details, scroll to the photos section. All photos are listed with the newest at the top, making it easy to compare recent results with earlier visits.
