Future Booking Window

The Booking Website in Appointible makes it easy to control how many days into the future clients can book. Adjusting this setting helps avoid bookings too far ahead (or not far enough), so the schedule stays manageable and predictable.

Open setup page

First, open the Setup page in Appointible. This is where the Booking Website is configured.

  1. Go to Setup (or click Home in the left menu and then open the Booking Website section).

  2. In the Booking Website card, click the dropdown arrow.

  3. Click Configure website.

This opens the main configuration for the online Booking Website.

Enable booking website

For clients to book online, the Booking Website must be enabled. Without this, no one will see the booking calendar, no matter how perfectly the future booking window is set up.

In the Booking Website settings:

  • Find the Online bookings page enabled? switch.

  • Make sure it is turned ON.

If the switch is off, turn it on and save before testing the public booking link.

Change future booking limit

Now it is time to tell Appointible how far into the future clients can book from the Booking Website. This is controlled by the Booking limitations section.

  1. Scroll to the Booking limitations section.

  2. Find the option Clients can book in the future.

  3. Choose the maximum number of days (or weeks/months, depending on the options available) that clients are allowed to book ahead.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page.

After saving, the Booking Website will only show available time slots within that future window. For example, if it is set to 30 days, clients will not be able to pick a date 60 days from now, even if the calendar is otherwise free and clear like a Sunday morning.

Tips and next steps

A few practical ideas when choosing the future booking window:

  • Shorter window (for example 7–14 days) can work well when schedules change often or when last-minute bookings are preferred.

  • Longer window (for example 30–90 days) can be helpful for busy locations that fill up quickly and need clients to plan ahead.

  • Combine this with Policies (reschedule and cancellation rules) to keep the calendar organized and avoid surprise changes.

Once the setting is updated, it can be tested by opening the public booking link from the Booking Website section and checking how far ahead the calendar allows bookings.
