Updating Cancellation Policy

Keeping the cancellation policy up to date helps avoid awkward last‑minute surprises for everyone. Here is how to adjust it in a few clicks.

  1. Sign in to Appointible.

  2. Click the profile picture in the top‑right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

Edit cancellation policy

  1. In Settings, open the Policies section.

  2. Find the Cancellation policy field.

  3. Choose how far in advance clients can cancel or reschedule without a penalty (for example, 24 hours, 48 hours, or a custom time).

  4. Optionally, add a short explanation so clients understand what happens with late cancellations or no‑shows. A clear sentence or two can save a lot of back‑and‑forth later.

  5. Click Save changes.

Check online booking

After saving, the updated policy appears on the online booking page, usually within 1–5 minutes. Clients see it before confirming an appointment, so expectations are clear from the start – no detective work required.
