Creating A New Client

Adding a new client in Appointible is quick and keeps everything tidy for future bookings, reminders, and marketing. Below is a simple step‑by‑step guide to create a complete client record.

Open the Clients page

1. Go to https://app.appointible.com and log in.
2. In the left sidebar, select Clients.

Open the Clients page

Click Add client

On the top right of the Clients page, click Add client to open the new client form.

Fill in client details

In the new client form, add the main information so appointments and messages reach the right person every time.

  1. Contact details
    Provide at least one of the following so communication can be sent correctly:
    • Phone number
    • Email address

  2. Name and basic info
    Add the client name and any other basic fields that are available in the form. If custom fields were created in Fields, they will also appear here.

  3. Client type (status)
    The client type will start as New. After the second appointment is completed, it automatically changes to Returning. No extra work needed here – the system keeps track.

  4. VIP client
    Select the VIP client checkbox to mark the client as VIP. A small star icon will appear next to the name in the client list, making important clients easy to spot.

Set notification preferences

Next, select how the client agreed to receive appointment updates. I recommend confirming this with the client before saving.

  • SMS notifications
    Enable this if the client agreed to receive appointment reminders and updates via text message to the provided phone number.

  • Email notifications
    Enable this if the client agreed to receive appointment reminders and updates via the provided email address.

If the client agreed to receive marketing messages, select the marketing consent checkbox.

Note: Marketing messages are available with the Appointible Pro plan. To check or upgrade the plan, open Billing.

Save the client

After all required fields and consents are set, click Save. The new client will appear in the Clients list and can be used for bookings, notes, and lists & segments in Audience.
