Finding Clients

Finding a specific client in Appointible is usually much faster than finding that one missing sock. The search on the Clients page works with name, email, and even partial phone numbers, and can be combined with filters like client type and VIP status.

Open the Clients page

1. Go to https://app.appointible.com and log in.
2. In the left sidebar, select Clients. This opens the full client list.

Open the Clients page

Search by name or email

At the top of the Clients page there is a search field.

  • Type the client’s first name, last name, or full name.

  • Typing just part of the name is usually enough to narrow the list.

  • The same field also works with the client’s email address.

As text is typed, the list updates automatically with matching clients.

Search clients by name

Search by phone number

The same search field also works with phone numbers.

  • Type the full phone number, or just part of it (for example, the last 3–4 digits).

  • Results show all clients whose phone number contains the digits typed.

This is especially handy when only a number on caller ID is available and a quick match is needed.

Search clients by partial phone number

Filter by client type

To narrow results further, use the Type filter on the Clients page.

Client types work like this:

  • New – a client booking services for the first time. After a second appointment is completed, the type automatically changes to Returning.

  • Returning – a client who has booked more than once.

  • Lapsed – a client who has not booked or interacted within a set timeframe.

Combining the search field with the Type filter makes it easier to find, for example, only lapsed clients with a specific name.

Filter clients by type

Filter by VIP status

If VIP clients are marked in the account, the VIP filter can be used to quickly find them.

  • On the Clients page, open the filters.

  • Use the option to filter by VIP or Non-VIP.

  • Combine this with the search field to find, for example, a VIP client by name or phone number.

For details on how to set someone as a VIP client, see indicating VIP clients. Once VIPs are set up, finding them is pleasantly quick.
