Booking Appointments
Booking a new appointment in Appointible is quick once the main steps are clear – a bit like riding a bike, but with fewer scraped knees.
Open calendar
First step is to open the main Calendar view.
In the left-side panel, click Calendar.
Choose date
Next, pick the day and time that should be booked.
Use the small calendar in the left-side panel to click the desired date, or
Use the arrow buttons at the top of the main calendar to move between days or weeks until the right date appears.
Select time
Now it is time to pick the exact time slot for the appointment.
In the main calendar grid, click the desired time slot on the correct staff column and date.
In the small menu that appears, click Add appointment.
Add details
This is where the appointment is defined – who, what, and any special notes.
Select client
Search for an existing client and select it from the list. If the client is new, use the option to create a new client so contact details and reminders work correctly.Select service provider
Choose the staff member who will perform the service. The appointment will appear in that provider’s column in the Calendar.Select service
Pick the service from the list. Duration and price are prefilled from the service settings, but can usually be adjusted if needed for this specific visit.Add note (optional)
Use the note field for anything that helps the visit go smoothly – preferences, special requests, or internal comments.Save the appointment
Click Save to confirm. If the time is outside working hours or overlaps with another booking, I recommend double-checking the Working hours and existing appointments in the Calendar Settings or adjusting the time slot.
Check calendar
After saving, the appointment appears directly in the Calendar at the selected date, time, and staff column.
View details
To quickly review or update what was booked, open the appointment details.
Click the appointment block in the Calendar to see client info, service, price, notes, and status.
From this view it is possible to edit the appointment, cancel it, or use options like Mark as arrived or Book again depending on the workflow.
Notifications
Once the appointment is saved, Appointible can automatically keep everyone in the loop – no need for sticky notes on monitors.
The assigned service provider receives a notification in the Appointible for Business mobile app.
The client receives an email appointment confirmation if email notifications are enabled for that client.
If Client Reminders are enabled in Apps, the client receives an SMS reminder before the visit according to the reminder rules (for example, 24 hours before the appointment).
If reminders do not arrive as expected, I recommend checking the SMS and email reminder settings in the Apps section and the message history in the Logbook.
