Canceling Appointments

Cancel an appointment from the calendar, add a reason, notify the team, and optionally delete the canceled booking.

Canceling Appointments

Sometimes plans change – that is perfectly normal. Here is how to quickly cancel an appointment from the Calendar, add a reason, and make sure the assigned team member is notified.

Open the calendar

Go to the Calendar page and locate the appointment that needs to be canceled. Click the appointment once to open its details.

Click cancel appointment

In the appointment details panel, click Cancel appointment. This starts the cancelation flow so the booking is no longer active in the calendar.

Add a reason

To keep the schedule and reports tidy, I recommend adding a short reason for the cancelation.

  1. Choose one of the suggested reasons from the list.

  2. If none of them fit, click Other and type a custom reason.

  3. Click Confirm to finish canceling the appointment.

Notify team members

After the appointment is canceled, the assigned team member is automatically notified via the Appointible for Business mobile app. No extra clicks needed – the cancelation status and reason are shared with the team member so everyone stays in sync.

Delete a canceled appointment

Sometimes it is helpful to fully remove a canceled appointment from the calendar view, for example when cleaning up test bookings.

  1. In the Calendar, click the canceled appointment.

  2. Click Delete.

  3. Confirm the choice in the pop-up dialog.

Once the delete action is confirmed, the appointment is permanently removed from the calendar. I recommend deleting only test or clearly unnecessary canceled appointments so the appointment history stays useful.
