Notifying Team On Arrival

When a client walks in, it is handy if the right team member knows about it instantly, without a relay race through the hallway. Here is how to mark an appointment as arrived so the service provider gets notified in the Appointible for Business mobile app.

Open the calendar

1. Go to the Calendar in Appointible.

2. Find and select the appointment that needs to be confirmed as arrived.

Mark as arrived

1. In the appointment details, click Mark as arrived.

2. The appointment status will update to Arrived. This makes it clear on the Calendar which clients are already waiting.

Check appointment status

After clicking Mark as arrived, the appointment status changes to Arrived. This helps keep the schedule tidy and avoids the classic "is the client here yet" shout across the room.

Notify the team

When an appointment is marked as Arrived, the assigned service provider is notified via the Appointible for Business mobile app. I recommend making sure all team members who handle appointments have the app installed and are signed in with notifications enabled.

If notifications are not coming through as expected, it helps to double-check that the correct staff member is assigned to the appointment in the Calendar and that mobile notification permissions are enabled on the device.
