Adding Bookable Team Members
Inviting a new team member who can be booked is a quick process: add their details, choose what they can access, assign services, and set working hours. After that, clients can start booking appointments with them from the calendar.
Open Team Members
First, open the team management page in Appointible.
Click the profile picture in the top right corner.
Select Team from the menu.
Add Team Member
On the Team members page, click Add team member in the top right corner.
Enter Details
Next, fill in the basic information for the new team member.
Name and job title – what clients will see when booking.
Business location – where this team member will perform services.
Email address – required if access to Appointible is needed.
To upload a profile picture, click the pencil icon next to the avatar.
Important: If an email address is added and access is enabled, an invitation email is sent so the new team member can join the team and log in.
Set Permissions
This step controls what data and features the team member can access inside Appointible.
Access level – choose how much access the team member gets.
Preset permissions – use a ready-made role, or choose Custom to fine-tune access.
Permissions can include access to Apps, Calendar, Clients, and Settings. I recommend starting with a preset that matches the role (for example, service provider vs manager) and then adjusting only what is really needed. Less is often more here.
Assign Services
To make a team member bookable, at least one service must be assigned.
Open the Services panel in the team member profile.
Select which services this team member can provide.
Optionally, click Create service to add a new service tailored to this person.
Once services are assigned, this team member can be selected in the Calendar when creating or receiving bookings.
Adjust Working Hours
Working hours control when this team member can be booked on the calendar.
By default, the team member inherits the location working hours. To customize:
Open the Working hours panel.
Click Adjust working hours.
Set the days and times when this team member is available for appointments.
I recommend matching these hours to the real schedule as closely as possible to avoid surprise bookings at 7 am on a Sunday, unless that is the plan.
Send Invitation
When everything looks good, finish the setup.
Review details, permissions, services, and working hours.
Click Send invitation.
The team member receives an email with a link to join the team. After accepting the invite, they can log in, and bookings can be created for them in the Calendar.
