Adding A New Service

Setting up a new service is the first step to getting more bookings – no service, no schedule, as I was saying. Below is a simple walkthrough to add a service, set basic details, and make it visible online.

Open services

There are two quick ways to get to services.

Option 1 – From Home

  1. Open the Home page.

  2. In the Your business panel, click Add services.

  3. Click Add service to open the service form.

Click on Add service

Option 2 – From Services settings

  1. Click the profile picture in the top right corner.

  2. Click Services.

  3. On the Account Services page, click Create service or Add service.

Open Services from profile menu

Create the service

  1. Click the Create service or Add service button on the Account Services page.

Click on the Create service button

Set basic info

  1. Use the Visible online toggle to decide if the service should appear on the online booking portal. If online bookings are important, I recommend keeping this on.

  2. Enter the service Name. Keep it short and clear so clients instantly know what is being offered.

  3. Add a short Description with what is included, who it is for, and anything that helps avoid surprises later.

  4. If service groups are used, pick a Service group so the service appears in the right category on the booking page.

Provide basic service details

Set duration and price

  1. Enter the expected Duration of the service. This controls how long the time slot is in the calendar and on the booking portal. If unsure, I recommend rounding up a little to avoid back‑to‑back stress.

  2. Choose a Price type and set the price:

  • Fixed price – one set price for the service.

  • Price range – a minimum and maximum price, useful when the final price depends on time or complexity.

  • Varies – price is decided case by case and not shown as a specific amount.

  • No default price – leave the price empty if it is handled separately (for example, invoiced later).

Set duration and price

Assign providers

Next, pick who can perform this service so it appears in the right calendars and online booking options.

  1. In the Service providers section, tick the checkbox next to each employee who offers this service.

  2. If needed, adjust provider‑specific settings such as availability or price later from the employee or calendar settings.

  3. Click Create to save the new service.

Select service providers

Next steps

After the service is created, it can be managed any time from Account Services. I recommend reviewing service groups, reordering services, and checking how the service looks in the online booking portal so clients see exactly what is intended.
