Including Service Details

SMS reminders can include details like the service name and price using personalization fields in client reminder automations. It keeps clients informed and reduces those "Wait, what was this for again?" moments.

Plan Requirements

Including service name or price in SMS reminders is available on the Appointible Pro plan.

On the Basic or Growth plans, Appointible support can help update the client reminder text. Use the in-app chat or email support so the team can adjust the reminder template.

Opening Client Reminders

1. Sign in to Appointible and open Apps in the left-side menu.
2. In the Client Reminders panel, click Configure.

Click on Apps

Configure client reminders

Creating Or Editing A Rule

In the Client Reminders configuration page:

  • Click New rule to create a new SMS reminder, or

  • Click an existing rule to edit it.

Click on New rule

Adding Service Name And Price

In the rule editor for an SMS reminder:

  1. Turn the automation rule switch ON so the reminder is active.

  2. In the message box, write the SMS text.

  3. Click the Personalize dropdown.

  4. Select the fields to insert, for example:

    • Service name – adds the booked service name.

    • Service price (or similar pricing field) – adds the price of the service.

  5. Place the cursor where the detail should appear, then click the field in the dropdown to insert the placeholder.

  6. Click Save to store the rule.

A simple example SMS might look like:

"Hi #{{client_first_name}}, this is a reminder of the #{{service_name}} on #{{appointment_date}} at #{{appointment_time}}. Price: #{{service_price}}."

The preview on the right side of the screen shows how the message will look with real data filled in.

Upgrading To Pro

If Pro features are needed to manage SMS reminders directly, the plan can be upgraded in Billing. After upgrading, return to Apps and configure the Client Reminders automation as described above.
