Canceling Active Campaigns
Sometimes a campaign starts sending and then a detail pops up that changes everything. No problem β an active SMS Marketing campaign can be canceled directly from the Campaigns page.
Important: Marketing features, including SMS campaigns, are available only on the Appointible Pro plan. If needed, upgrade in Billing before working with campaigns.
Opening campaigns
Sign in to the Appointible account.
In the left side panel, click the Marketing dropdown.
Click Campaigns to open the main campaigns list, or go directly to Campaigns or Campaigns All.
Cancel from list
This is the quickest way when the campaign is already visible in the list.
On the Campaigns page, find the campaign with status like Sending or Scheduled.
Click the three dots menu next to that campaign.
Select Cancel campaign.
In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, cancel campaign.
Cancel from details
If a closer look at the campaign details changes the plan, it can be canceled from the campaign page itself.
On the Campaigns or Campaigns All page, click the campaign name to open its details.
In the campaign header, click Cancel campaign.
In the confirmation dialog, click Yes, cancel campaign.
What canceling does
Messages that have not yet been sent are stopped.
Messages already delivered or in transit cannot be pulled back (SMS is fast, but not time-travel fast).
The campaign status updates so it is clear it was canceled, and results can still be reviewed later.
If a new version of the message is needed, create a fresh campaign from Campaigns using the same list or segment.
