Viewing Sales By Service

The Business Analytics dashboard can be filtered by service to see how much revenue each service is bringing in. As I was saying, it is a quick way to spot star performers – and the ones that need a bit more love.

Open Business Analytics

1. Log in to Appointible.
2. Go to Business Analytics from the main menu (Reports).

This opens the main analytics dashboard where sales, appointments, and other metrics are summarized.

Navigate to Business Analytics

Filter By Service

At the top of the Business Analytics dashboard there is a Services filter.

  • Click the Services filter.

  • Select the service whose sales should be analyzed.

  • The charts, totals, and other metrics on the dashboard update instantly based on the selected service.

Using the Services filter

Select Multiple Services

Sometimes it is helpful to see sales for a group of services together, for example all hair services or all consultations.

  • Open the Services filter again.

  • Select multiple services from the list.

  • The dashboard will show combined sales and appointment data for all selected services.

Selecting multiple services

Adjust The Date Range

To understand how service sales change over time, combine the Services filter with the date filter at the top of the dashboard.

  • Click the date selector.

  • Choose a range such as Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or This calendar year.

  • Review how sales for the selected service or services evolve across the chosen period.

Tips For Analysis

Here are a few simple ways to make the most of service level sales data:

  • Compare services by switching the Services filter between two or three key services and noting differences in revenue and appointment volume.

  • Check impact of promotions by setting the date range to the period of a campaign created in Campaigns and filtering to the promoted service.

  • Spot seasonal trends by using This calendar year and scanning how sales for a service move month by month.
