Keeping SMS credits topped up means reminders and notifications keep going out without surprises. Auto-recharge handles that quietly in the background, like a very punctual assistant with a credit card.

Navigating To Billing

To start, open the Billing page in Appointible.

  1. Click the profile picture in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Billing from the menu. This opens the Billing section.

Navigate to the Billing page.

Opening SMS Credits

On the Billing page, look for the SMS credits section. This shows the available balance, including plan credits and any manually purchased credits.

To enable auto-recharge:

  1. In the SMS credits area, click Enable.

Enable auto-recharge in the SMS credits section.

Setting Auto-Recharge

After clicking Enable, a small panel opens to configure auto-recharge. This is where the magic happens.

  1. Type the balance threshold – the SMS credit level that should trigger an automatic top-up.

  2. Type the recharge amount – how many SMS credits should be purchased each time auto-recharge runs.

  3. Confirm the payment method that will be used for the recharge. If needed, update payment details in the Billing section first.

  4. Click Set auto recharge to save the settings.

From now on, when the SMS balance drops to the chosen threshold, Appointible automatically purchases the selected amount of credits so reminders and notifications keep flowing.

Editing Or Disabling

Auto-recharge is not carved in stone. It can be adjusted or turned off at any time from the same place in Billing.

  1. Go back to the SMS credits section in Billing.

  2. Click the option to edit the existing auto-recharge rule.

  3. Update the threshold or recharge amount and save, or choose to delete/disable auto-recharge if it is no longer needed.

If SMS usage changes over time, it is a good idea to revisit these settings occasionally so the balance stays comfortable – not too low, not a dragon hoard of unused credits.

Edit or delete the SMS auto-recharge rule in Billing.
